The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Saturday issued a notification for 48 paisa per unit cut in electricity prices under the fuel price adjustment for September for consumers across the country, including Karachi, except those who are lifeline, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the notification, consumers will get a relief in their bills in November.
The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) had requested for reducing the electricity prices by 37 paisa per unit.
