Jamaat-e-Islami has announced to launch Kisan Bachao Tehreek, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference after meeting with farmers in Lahore, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman's demanded that both the public and farmers should get subsidy on flour.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said small farmers are in serious trouble for not getting their rights and due to inflation, costly fertilizers and other agriculture related products.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman further demanded that wheat price should be fixed at Rs4500 per 40 kg
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman also demanded that sugar price should be reduced by 50 percent immediately.
