Pakistan and Jordon have reaffirmed the commitment to further strengthen their bilateral ties through continued high-level engagement, and cooperation for regional peace and stability. The commitment was expressed during a conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi today.
Ishaq Dar appreciated Jordan's role in receiving the Global Sumud Flotilla's released detainees and facilitating their return home. He also thanked Jordan for its assistance in enabling the return of Pakistan's former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan to Amman, who is scheduled to reach Pakistan tomorrow.
