Heavy rain has claimed four lives, including three children, after two separate incidents of wall and roof collapse in Sukkur, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
According to the details, one of the tragic events occurred in the Tandro Boraha area, where a house wall collapsed during rain, killing three children and injuring two others.
The deceased children were identified as 10-year-old Khalid Barro, 11-year-old Dur Muhammad Barro, and Shahzaib Sheikh, all of whom were crushed under the debris of a wall.
Sukkur police quickly responded to the scene, transporting the dead bodies and the injured kids to Taluka Hospital Rohri using a police mobile van.
In a separate incident, the roof of an Imambargah near the Railway Officers’ Club in Sukkur collapsed due to rain, resulting in the death of one person.
