Shoaib Malik has shared his perspective on the right age for marriage, saying it is best to marry young but acceptable to wait until later in life if necessary.
Speaking on a local television show, Malik was asked about the ideal age to tie the knot.
He replied, “It’s good to marry at an early age, but if not, I suggest it’s better to marry after the mid-30s.”
His comments sparked debate among fans, given the cricketer’s own well-documented marital history.
Shoaib Malik’s first marriage was to Indian woman, Ayesha Siddiqui.
The relationship came under the spotlight in 2010 when Ayesha accused Malik of abandoning her.
Initially denying the marriage, Malik later admitted it after evidence surfaced, and the matter was settled through divorce.
Later the same year, Malik tied the knot with Indian tennis star Sania Mirza in a high-profile wedding that attracted global media attention.
Their marriage was hailed as a rare cross-border union between Pakistan and India. The couple welcomed a son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, in October 2018.
After more than a decade together, reports of differences began circulating in late 2022.
In January 2024, Sania Mirza’s family confirmed that the couple had separated.
Just days later, Shoaib Malik surprised fans by announcing his marriage to actress Sana Javed on 20 January 2024. Their wedding pictures quickly went viral on social media, generating widespread discussion.
Malik, now in his early 40s, remains an active cricketer on the T20 circuit.
