The Prime Minister’s Office has nominated Syed Zeeshan Ali Naqvi as the focal person of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, according to an official notification issued Monday.
Expressing gratitude over his appointment, Zeeshan Naqvi thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood for reposing confidence in him.
He pledged to dedicate his efforts toward addressing the issues faced by the country’s youth, describing their welfare as the government’s top priority.
“The future of Pakistan is directly linked with its youth. I will try my best to live up to the trust of the leadership by providing opportunities that make young people skilled and self-reliant,” Naqvi said.
He added that the program would introduce comprehensive policies aimed at creating new employment avenues, launching innovative initiatives, and ensuring youth empowerment across the country.
Naqvi, a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Islamic Movement of Pakistan, previously served as the Deputy Mayor of Islamabad.
