The Shalimar Police Islamabad Saturday arrested two members of a notorious organized gang involved in multiple robbery cases during a crackdown, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.
According to police officials, the suspects, identified as Shayan and Azan, both had a prior criminal record and multiple cases registered against them.
According to police officials, the arrests were made as part of intelligence-based efforts to curb street crimes in the area.
During the operation, law enforcement recovered several expensive mobile phones snatched during robberies, along with weapons allegedly used in the crimes.
Police officials stated that the detained individuals were part of a well-organized criminal network and were wanted in several cases. Further investigations are underway to uncover more details about their activities and possible accomplices.
