Pakistani content creator Junaid Akram has announced that he is taking the legal route after claiming he has been prevented from seeing his six-year-old son, saying he wants to protect his rights as a father and maintain his relationship with his child.
In a statement shared on social media, Junaid said he had repeatedly tried to resolve the matter privately but was unable to resolve the situation.
He said he has now decided to pursue the appropriate legal route to protect his rights as a father and his relationship with his son.
Junaid said he never intended to bring the family matter into the public domain, but felt the need to clarify the situation as parts of his personal life had started becoming public.
He claimed that despite his efforts to resolve the issue privately and through other means, he continued to be prevented from seeing his son.
The content creator also said he would not negotiate over access to his child, adding that a six-year-old should not be placed in the middle of a dispute between adults.
Junaid said he would now follow the appropriate legal process to address the matter, while stressing that his main priority remains his son and his well-being.
He also made it clear that he does not intend to discuss further details of the family matter publicly, choosing instead to keep the issue private while pursuing the legal route.
