Three people, including a father and his son, were killed and two others injured after two groups allegedly exchanged fire over a property dispute near Sateen in Lower Kurram's Sadda area of Kurram district, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to police sources, the incident began when the two sides opened fire on each other during a dispute over property. Two people from one side and one from the other were killed in the shooting.
Police identified the deceased from one side as Hamid Khan and his son Yaqoob Khan. Hamid Khan's other son, Arab Khan, was injured in the firing.
Ghazi Khan was killed from the other side, while a man identified as Amjad Khan sustained injuries, according to police sources.
Rescue officials said the bodies of the three victims and the injured were taken to the tehsil hospital for treatment and other procedures.
