PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the violence against ex-minister Ahsan Iqbal and party workers in Karachi and demanded an impartial probe.
In a statement, Shehbaz said ‘the rangers in Karachi brutally tortured party workers on the orders of Imran Khan Niazi’.
He said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal and the peaceful workers of the party were subjected to mistreatment. He demanded a high level investigation so that the persons responsible for such a shameful act could be brought to book.
He said violence against political and democratic activists was unacceptable.
