The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf regarding the change in the party constitution, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Friday.
According to sources, the election commission sought the amended party constitution.
The decision to call for the amended constitution was taken in a meeting related to Imran Khan's party presidency, the insiders said.
The PTI has changed the party structure by amending the party constitution, they said, adding that the amendment laid down a formal procedure for issuing party tickets.
