The government has announced a debt repayment plan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
Payments of 33 billion rupees have to be made in the financial year 2022-23.
The current account deficit is 10 billion dollars this year while 23 billion dollars have to be paid for the payment of debts
So far, the debt of 6 billion dollars has been paid and a loan of four billion dollars has been deferred
The government will defer another debt of more than $8 billion.
Negotiations are ongoing to postpone a loan of three billion dollars from a friendly country.
