The investigation by the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime into a controversial tweet by former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan has now entered into its final stages, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Sources told 24News TV channel that this week, the FIA would brief the federal cabinet meeting about the progress made in this case so far and in the event of approval by the cabinet, the PTI founder would be arrested.
They informed that more sections would be inserted in the case following the cabinet’s nod.
Sources disclosed that the Agency had also recorded the statements of witnesses.
On the other hand, it has been claimed in the FIA’s report that the tweet was made on the instructions of the former prime minister in which he tried to incite the masses against the state institutions.
