A murder accused was shot dead apparently by his rival inside the Sessions Court of Faisalabad on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Murder accused Ali Imran was handcuffed and surrounded by policemen when Saqlain targeted him by opening firing on him.
Soon after the incident, panic and harassment spread among the people who were present inside and outside the court and there was a scene of stampede in the court.
Further investigation was underway.
