On the request of the Additional IG, the Karachi commissioner issued a notification, banning pillion-riding and a public gathering and rally
It said some elements can disrupt law and order, adding that Section 144 has been imposed to avoid an unpleasant situation.
The SHO is given authority to act on violation of the law, the notification maintained.
