An unidentified man riding a car threw a “time device” outside the main gate of Jati Umra in Lahore and fled.
The “time device” was attached to a small replica of a lion. According to sources, the suspects gave the “time device” attached to the replica of a lion to the security at the main gate and told them to take this “gift” inside. The car rider threw the “time device” outside the main gate of Jati Umra despite security men telling him not to do this.
A heavy contingent of police reached the scene. The police called the bomb disposal squad and closed the road leading to Jati Umra for traffic. However, personnel of the bomb disposal squad checked the “time device” and declared it a toy.
Police are now trying to trace the man who threw the so-called time-device at the gate main gate of Jati Umra.
