Most parts of the country are expected to experience cold and dry weather tonight, while some regions in northwest Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan may witness light rain or snowfall, according to the latest forecast.
For Monday, Islamabad and its surrounding areas are expected to remain cold and partly cloudy, with a 30% chance of light rain accompanied by strong winds in the evening or night.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts will see cold and partly cloudy conditions. However, rain and snowfall are likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Kurram, Khyber, Peshawar, Mohmand, Bajaur, and Waziristan.
Punjab is expected to remain cold and dry, but Attock, Rawalpindi, and Jhelum could experience light rain with strong winds during the evening or night. The Murree and Galiyat regions are forecasted to have partly cloudy conditions with light rain or snowfall.
Balochistan will see cold and dry weather in most districts, while Quetta, Ziarat, Pishin, and Qila Abdullah may experience rain and snowfall in the northern parts of the province.
In Sindh, the weather is expected to stay dry and cold across all districts.
Meanwhile, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to have partly cloudy conditions with rain and snowfall in some areas.
The lowest temperatures recorded today include Leh at minus 7°C, followed by Skardu and Gopis at minus 6°C, and Bagrot, Hunza, and Parachinar at minus 3°C. Other chilly spots included Kalam at minus 2°C, while Kakul, Rawalakot, and Gilgit recorded minus 1°C.
Citizens, especially in northern and higher-altitude regions, are advised to prepare for cold conditions and possible travel disruptions due to snowfall in affected areas.
