Families stage protest claiming deceased did not have any criminal record

Two dacoits were killed and their two colleagues managed to escape during heavy exchange of firing with police near village 456 EB of Burewala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Police sources said that the dead dacoits were involved in gruesome murder of a milkman a day earlier. 

The sources further said that both the dacoits were killed by the firing of their own colleagues.

The dead dacoits were later identified as Malik Anjum who belonged to Pasrur and Babar.

Police team also recovered a motorcycle used in a dacoity attempt and currency from their possession.

Further investigation was underway.

Later, heris and relatives of the dead “dacoits” staged a protest demonstration and chanted slogans against Saddar police.

Due to their protest traffic was disrupted on several locations of the city. 

The family members of dead accused said that police shot them without any reason as there was no criminal record against them.

The police said that both the dacoits were involved in some heinous crimes.
