Police registered separate first information reports (FIRs) on behalf of incharge polio teams against the accused involved in attacking vaccination teams in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to details, these attacks took place in the Shahdara and Harbanspura areas of Lahore.
As per the FIR, a polio team under the supervision of Incharge UC-44 Nadeem Ashraf Mobeen and Rabia went to administer polio drops in Harbanspura.
The team reached a house of Sumeera Bibi, which is located in Mehar Fayyaz Colony. Sumeera Bibi refused to administer polio drops to her children and asked the polio team to leave the premises immediately.
Then Sumeera Bibi summoned more women and five unknown persons and tortured the polio team.
Habanspura Police registered an FIR on behalf of Incharge polio team, Nadeem Ashraf. Serious criminal sections were included in the FIR.
In another incident which occurred in the Shahdara area of Lahore, polio team incharge Arifa Tahira went to house of Nadeem which his located in Chaman Colony.
Maria wife of Naeem, refused to administer polio drops to her children and tortured the polio team.
Shahdara police registered the first information against the accused under serious criminal sections.
