Election Commission Pakistan (ECP) releases preliminary list of candidates for PP-167 Lahore by-election as 5 candidates submit nomination papers, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Malik Muhammad Shafi Khokar, Ashfaq Ahmed, Atta Farid, Umair Saif and Muhammad Saif submitted their nomination papers.
According to ECP, scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed by January 12. Candidates will be able to withdraw their nomination papers by January 23 and final list of candidates will be released on January 23 itself. Election symbols will be allotted to candidates on January 24. Polling for the by-election in PP-167 will be held on February 4.
