The federal government on Friday made a series of transfers and postings in the federal bureaucracy, issuing official notifications through the Establishment Division.
According to the notification, Secretary of Petroleum Division Momin Agha has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division. Following his transfer, Special Secretary to Petroleum Division Mirza Nasiruddin Mashhood has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary Petroleum on a temporary basis. He will continue to hold this responsibility until a permanent appointment is made.
In another move, Deputy Secretary Majid Abbas has been transferred from the Ministry of Information Technology and posted to the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The Establishment Division confirmed that formal notifications regarding these appointments and transfers have been issued, as the government continues administrative adjustments aimed at ensuring smooth functioning across federal ministries and divisions.
