As many as six people were killed while two were injured in an exchange of fire between two groups in Shah Hassan Khel area of Dera Ismael Khan on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that the incident was a consequence of old enmity between these groups.
As per initial information, those who were killed included Naqeeb, Tahir, Zubair, Sher Nawaz and Hidayatullah.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, while police started conducting raids for the arrest of the suspects.
On Tuesday, a man shot dead his parents and brother over a domestic dispute in Peshawar.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Sarband Police Station in Peshawar. Police said that the accused opened fire on his father, mother, and brother and escaped from the scene,
Soon after receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to a local hospital for autopsy.
