A policeman was martyred and two others were injured when unknown armed men attacked the Nirhan Police Station in Duki district, according to police sources.
Police said the martyred officer was identified as Syed Hassan Zarkoon. The injured personnel were identified as Muhammad Wali Zarkoon and Baloch Khan Loni.
According to police sources, the injured officers and the body of the martyred policeman were being shifted to Civil Hospital Duki.
Police officials said that personnel stationed at the police station fought bravely during the attack.
Immediately after the incident, police teams, the Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF) and the Frontier Corps (FC) Quick Response Force, led by SP Duki Mansoor Ahmed Buzdar, were dispatched to the scene.
