Fire erupted in two separate incidents involving two passenger buses in Khanewal and Khairpur on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The first incident took place at M-4 Motorway in Darkhana in Khanewal, in which a massive fire broke out in a passenger bus.
All the passengers were rescued successfully. No loss of life was reported from the site of the incident. The passenger bus and the passengers' valuables were burnt to ashes.
The second incident occurred in Tando Masti in Khairpur in which a passenger bus, which was going to Punjab from Karachi, suddenly caught fire.
Eight passengers received burn wounds, and later they were shifted to the hospital. The coach caught fire from the rear engine, causing panic among the passengers.
Locals broke down the door and pulled the passengers out. The coach driver and conductor fled the scene after the incident.
