Federal Minister for Housing Tariq Bashir Cheema laid bare the strategy of his party during a meeting with Premier Imran Khan, informing him that the PML-Q would be forced to side with the opposition if 15 to 20 parliamentarians of the ruling PTI jumped ship.
According to the report broadcasted by 24NewsHD TV channel, PML-Q secretary general Tariq Bashir Cheema called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and held a detailed discussion with him about the current political circumstances and future scenario.
PML-Q’s Tariq Bashir Cheema assured the prime minister of his party’s full support in the no-confidence motion by the opposition.
He, however, told the prime minister that the PML-Q would resort to policy change, or side with the opposition, if 15 to 20 parliamentarians from the ruling PTI jumped ship.
