Incidents of dacoities are on the rise in WAPDA Town in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In one such incident, a man entered a mosque in the locality late Saturday night without removing his shoes and tried to remove the donation box.
The CCTV footage shows that when he failed to remove the box, he stole the amount from it and fled.
The administration of the mosque has filed a request at Satto Katla police station for the registration of an FIR.
Residents of the locality have appealed to the police to provide them protection by cracking down on the outlaws.
