The Sindh government has announced a public holiday for educational institutions on Youm-e-Ali.
According to a notification issued by the provincial education department, all public and private educational institutions will remain closed on March 11 in observance of the day.
The notification was issued by Zahid Ali Abbasi following a decision taken earlier by the provincial steering committee during its meeting on February 12.
Officials said the holiday will apply to all government and private schools and colleges across the province.
