A woman allegedly fired multiple shots toward the Beverly Hills residence of Barbadian singer and businesswoman Rihanna.
But the global superstar remained safe as police quickly arrested the suspect, according to reports.
According to sources, the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when a woman believed to be in her 30s fired shots from her vehicle toward the singer’s mansion.
Police quickly responded to the scene and detained the suspect. The singer was inside the home at the time but was not injured.
Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the shooting, and further details about the suspect have not yet been released.
It remains unclear whether Rihanna’s partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, or their children RZA, Riot and baby Rocki were present in the house during the incident.
Images from the scene showed police vehicles surrounding the neighborhood while officers sealed off the street near the residence with yellow tape as investigators examined the area.
The Fenty Beauty founder purchased the luxury property in 2021.
The sprawling five-bedroom mansion, located on a secluded cul-de-sac in the hills of Beverly Hills, offers extensive privacy with tall hedges and gated surroundings.
Several celebrities reportedly live nearby, including Mariah Carey and Madonna.
Authorities have yet to confirm what led to the shooting as the investigation continues.
