Karachi administration has granted permission for "Aurat March" scheduled for May 10 at Clifton Beach View Park, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.

According to the Deputy Commissioner South, the permission was issued after clearance from the Sindh Police, following a NOC from the SSP (South).

The event will be held from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm and is being organised in connection with Mother’s Day.

Authorities have imposed 28 conditions for the march, including a complete ban on anti-state slogans, speeches, or any provocative activities.

Officials said the display of hate speech, religiously offensive material, or content promoting sectarianism will not be allowed.

Participation or support from banned organisations has also been strictly prohibited.

The conditions further state that no LGBTQ-related promotional content will be permitted during the event.

Organisers will be responsible for ensuring security arrangements, including the installation of walk-through gates and mandatory security screening of participants.

The administration also warned that law enforcement instructions must be strictly followed, while drug use, weapons, and aerial firing are completely banned.
