Captain (Retired) Ali Raza Qazi assumed the charge of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
SSP Ali Raza Qazi belonged to the 44th Common Course.
Prior to joining the police service, Ali Raza Qazi served in the Pakistan Army for nine years, during which he was awarded an “honorary certificate' for participation in Operation Zarb-e-Ghazab.
Captain ® Ali Raza Qazi obtained a Master's degree in international relations and served on various posts in Balochistan and Punjab police.
SSP Ali Raza Qazi said that the safety and security of the citizens is his top priority. He said that all resources will be utilised to curb criminal activities.
He further said that a crackdown will be started against criminals involved in snatching motorcycles and cars.
He directed all patrolling units to perform their duties in the field. SSP Ali Raza also presided over a special meeting of SDPOs and SHOs.
