Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hosted a dinner in honor of senators from the government and coalition parties late on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
The Prime Minister welcomed the senators from the government and coalition parties and thanked them for their cooperation in the process of approving the 27th Constitutional Amendment. “I am grateful to President Asif Ali Zardari and the leaders of all the coalition parties”, Prime Minister said.
He said all the coalition parties fully supported this national idea. The Prime Minister told the lawmakers that, “We all worked together for the 27th Constitutional Amendment to strengthen the federation, serve the broader interests of the country, increase harmony among the provinces, and improve governance”.
“All the milestones achieved during this government are the result of mutual cooperation between the government and the coalition parties”, said the Prime Minister.
PM Shehbaz said Pakistan's diplomatic achievements and reputation in the world were a reflection of harmony and mutual unity among all the coalition parties.
Prime Minister claimed that the country's economic situation is gradually improving. He said by the grace of Allah, the country's direction has been right due to political and economic stability in the country. Prime Minister said everyone has to work together for the development and prosperity of the country.
