Armed robbers identifying themselves to be Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) workers infiltrated the Information Ministry Deputy Director’s house and stole cash and gold worth millions, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
It was stated that the three armed robbers, identifying as FIA workers infiltrated the Information Minister Deputy Director Aasia Imran Gondal’s house and started searching.
Aasia said that the robbers while searching, kept asking about the political party she was in favour of. She said that she was looted of 32 tola gold and Rs380,000 in cash. They also took away expensive items like laptops, perfumes and cosmetics.
She said that they had told the police about 32 tola gold being stolen but they only mentioned 10 tola in the case.
The police have failed to arrest the culprits as of yet.
