Louis Tomlinson finally commented on the possibility of a much awaited One Direction reunion in the near future.
According to foreign media outlets, the 33-year-old English singer shared that fans won’t be seeing their favourite band reunite anytime soon, especially since losing former bandmate Liam Payne.
Now, the Bigger Than Me hitmaker has come forward and opened up about losing his old pal and the future of the former band in his latest interview.
On the podcast, he confessed that with Liam gone, he isn’t sure if a One Direction reunion would feel right.
"Never say never, right, but I’m just not sure it would be right to him," he remarked.
Continuing, "Say, for the sake of argument, 25 years' time, it’s like an Oasis thing, they offer us an arm and a leg, and they’re like, 'Come back and do this many shows,' I don’t know."
Louis’ comments come just a couple of weeks ahead of Liam’s first death anniversary.
The late English singer tragically succumbed to his death when he was only 31 years old on October 16, 2024, after a fatal fall from a hotel’s balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
One Direction fans will get to see two of the band members, Louis and Zayn Malik, however in an upcoming travel docu-series.
