The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi arrived at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where he held a special meeting with the captains of all teams participating in the Asia Cup 2025, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday. 0
In a cordial interaction, Naqvi personally greeted Pakistan’s captain Salman Agha, India’s skipper Suryakumar Yadav, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, Bangladesh’s Litton Das, and Hong Kong’s Yasim Murtaza.
He also extended a warm welcome to Sri Lanka’s Charith Asalanka, UAE’s Mohammad Wasim, and Oman’s Jatinder Singh.
Naqvi personally welcomed and extended his warm regards to the leaders of all competing nations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that the Asia Cup provides cricket fans with the opportunity not only to witness the traditional rivalry between Pakistan and India but also to enjoy thrilling contests among other Asian teams.
He lauded the Emirates Cricket Board for collaborating with the ACC in making excellent arrangements for the tournament, ensuring a world-class cricketing spectacle.
Naqvi further remarked, “Cricket is not just a sport but a beautiful means of uniting hearts and spreading love,” he said.
He assured that the ACC, along with member boards, is fully committed and enthusiastic about the successful organization of the 2025 edition.
Pakistan Cricket Board’s Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed, Pakistan Super League’s Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer, and senior officials of other cricket boards were also present on the occasion.
