Pakistan wrestling official Inam Butt has withdrawn from the Asian Games because of a doping-related matter, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to sources, Inam Butt, who serves as secretary of the wrestling federation, was due to attend the Asian Games as a coach.
He will now travel with the four-member Pakistan wrestling team in a different capacity, while Arshad Sattar will take over the team's managerial responsibilities.
Pakistan's wrestlers will compete in four weight categories. Muhammad Abdullah will compete in the 65kg category, Inayatullah in the 74kg category, Noman Zaka in the 86kg category and Muhammad Gulzar in the 97kg category.
As per the channel report, the national wrestling team's training camp is currently being held under the supervision of Usman Shahid and Azhar Hussain.
The Pakistan wrestling team is scheduled to leave for Japan on September 27, while the wrestling competitions at the Asian Games are due to begin on October 3.
