President Asif Ali Zardari departed for Pakistan from London on Wednesday after staying in the United Kingdom for more than a week, reported 24NewsHD TV.
Before leaving for the airport, President Zardari briefly spoke to journalists. When asked about his health, the president replied, “By the grace of Allah, I am fine.”
Responding to a question about his stay in London, President Zardari said that he had a good time in the city.
Pakistani High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Tipu Usman was present at the airport to see off the president.
President Zardari avoided answering further questions from journalists. According to sources, the president underwent various medical check-ups during his stay in the UK. He did not participate in any political activities during his visit.
President Zardari arrived in the UK on a private visit, nearly after six years.
During his stay in London, his children, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari also visited him.
