Leader of the Opposition in the Upper House, Senator Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that effective steps would be taken to raise issues of public interest along with effectual legislation.

The Leader of Opposition in Senate said this after assuming his day-to-day office activities in his chambers at Parliament House.

Senator Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that that efforts would be made to run the constitutional matters with mutual understanding.
