Cricketer Aliya Riaz gets engaged with commentator Ali Younis

Pakistan women's cricket team all-rounder Aliya Riaz has been engaged with a prominent commentator Younis Ali, the younger brother of former cricket captain Waqar Younis during an intimate wedding ceremony held in Wah Cantt.

The delightful upload regarding the engagement ceremony of the two sports personalities came to light right after the duo uploaded some adorable snippets from the ceremony on their Instagram handle.

The engagement ceremony which has been seemingly attended by close family members and a few relatives offering vibes of elegancy and simplicity, featuring the couple dressed in modest attires while posing delicately with the family members.

Aliya is seen donning a blue colored printed outfit with silver high heels, opting for a natural look with a center-parted hairstyle: however, on the other hand, the sportsman Younis is seen complementing her in all-black attire (Shalwar Kameez) along with a matching waistcoat and shoes.

It is important to mention that Aliya Riaz is a Pakistani cricketer who plays as a right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler for Pakistan.

Aliya Riaz, aged 31, boasts an impressive cricketing career, having represented Pakistan in 62 One Day Internationals and 83 T20 matches.

In October 2018, she was named in Pakistan's squad for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies. In January 2020, she was named in Pakistan's squad for the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia. In December 2020, she was shortlisted as one of the Women's Cricketer of the Year for the 2020 PCB Awards.
