FBR surpasses July tax revenue target

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has surpassed the tax target for July, reported 24News HD TV channel Monday.

According to details, FBR collected Rs458billion in revenue in July while FBR's target for July was Rs443billion.

The revenues collected in the same month last year were Rs417billion.

According to an FBE communique, it has paid Rs28billion to taxpayers in refunds in the month of July while Rs21billion were refunded in the same month last year.
