Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Noorani (JUI-Noorani) chief Shah Awais Noorani was not allowed by security guards to go the stage to address the Pakistan Democratic (PDM) public meeting in Multan on Monday.

Complaining about security guards’ attitude, Awais said all PDM leaders were facing security risks. He said it was not just the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders whose security was important. He said this attitude was highly regrettable.

Awais said in a tweet that his name was called thrice on the stage as he was supposed to address the Multan rally of the PDM, but he was not allowed to go to the stage.
