Warden Ali Irfan, of Kot Lakhpat sector, has challaned Edhi Foundation’s ambulance that was parked outside the General Hospital, Lahore on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Not only this, but the warden also got the ambulance locked up following an altercation with Jamil, the driver.

A spokesman for the Edhi Foundation said that the warden had not only issued a ticket of Rs1, 000 to the driver following an exchange of hot words with him but also got the ambulance confiscated by Factory Area police.

On the other hand, spokesman for the traffic police said that the driver was challaned over violation of a traffic rule. “He had parked the vehicle in a no parking zone,” he explained.

The spokesman further said the driver did not budge even after having been repeatedly asked to take the ambulance to the parking area.

CTO Syed Hammad Abid has said that the incident is being further probed.
