A six-year-old girl got justice after waiting for five-long years as a court in Karachi sentenced rapist Zainul Abidin to death, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Judge Gada Hussain B Abro said the act of the rapist destroyed the physical and mental life of the girl and it was the heinous, horrible, painful and destructive act.

“The incident has not only affected the girl's family but also the entire society,” the court said in the verdict.

The judge said harshest punishments ought to be given to avoid such incidents in the future.

The court also ordered the culprit to pay Rs500,000 to the affected family.

It is pertinent to note that a case was lodged against the rapist in 2015 in Police Station Saeed Abad.
