Serene Air gets licence to operate flights to Saudi Arabia

Good news for Serene Air, a country’s private sector airline, as General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia has permitted it to operate flights between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

In the beginning, the airline will operate flights from destinations in Pakistan to Jeddah and Riyadh. Later, the operations will be extended to Madinah, Damam and other cities.  

GACA has given Foreign Air Career Economic Licence to the Pakistani airline for a period of two years. 

Serene Air will start its operations on January 21. According to the airline’s management, flights to Saudi Arabian cities will take off from Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar airports. 

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has already given a green signal to Serene Air to start its international flights operation.
