Petroleum products prices to remain unchanged

The government has decided to keep petroleum products prices unchanged for the first 15 days of June, reported 24News HD TV channel. 

The finance ministry notified on Monday that the price of petrol in Pakistan would remain unchanged for the first 15 days of June. 

Therefore, petrol will continue to cost 108.56 per litre while the price of diesel will also remain the same at Rs110.76. Kerosene oil will continue to be priced at Rs80 per litre while light diesel will also remain the same at Rs77.65 per litre. 

According to the statement issued by the finance division, Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products. 

It added the government has not increased the prices of petroleum products since April 16 by adjusting sales tax and petroleum levy so that there is no corresponding increase in the prices of essential items and maximum relief is provided to the common man.
