Following the surge in prices of petroleum products, the cost of Ghee and cooking oil of different brands surged at utility stores, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The price of cooking oil went up to  Rs215 per litre and ghee Rs208 per kg, according to a notification.

The reason for the raise is cited as the surge in oil price products. People have been making a litany of complaint but to no avail.
