Aurat March Islamabad Wednesday released the poster of the Aurat March 2023 with a theme of "Feminization of Climate Justice" and urged the masses to endorse their charter of demand.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Aurat March Islamabad in its series of six tweets said, "This Aurat March, we call attention to the women struck by the devastating floods in Pakistan. We wanted to come forward with a poster that reflected the intersectionality of burdens that women, trans and nonbinary individuals bear during the floods."

She grasps tools and grains in her other hand representing the productive labour she endures in order to make ends meet while undergoing continuous reproductive labour combined with the role of motherhood.

In another, she grips a white salwar stained with blood representing the intensified period poverty menstruating individuals suffer. 

The recent floods impacted almost 33 million individuals, while women and other gender minorities were affected far more due to the intersectionality of socioeconomic status, religion, gender, and ethnicity.

As Aurat March Islamabad, we aim to demand “Feminization Climate justice” for all. Amid this calamity, we envision a future where women's voices for climate justice are heard and have equal representation in addressing climate injustices in their context.

Pertinent to mention here that yesterday, Aurat March released its charter of demands for 2023 on the theme "Feminization of Climate Justice" which is addressing women's needs in climate justice policy and practice.
