Pakistan, like other parts of the world, Sunday observed International Labour’s Day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The purpose of observing this day is to discuss the importance and rights of labourers all around the globe.

Mazdoor Kisan Party, All Pakistan Trade Union rally 

Mazdoor Kisan Party and All Pakistan Trade Union organized rallies to mark Labour Day.

Hundreds of labourers and farmers staged gatherings at Raiwind's Dubai Town.

APWHEWU stages rally

Under the auspices of All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union (APWHEWU), a rally was held at Lahore’s Nisbat Road from Bakhtiar Labor Hall.

Watan Dost Mazdoor Federation holds rally

On International Labour's Day, the Watan Dost Mazdoor Federation held a rally from Labor Hall to Bhutto Chowk at Qambar in tribute to the martyrs of Chicago.

Maryam Nawaz greets

Maryam Nawaz tweeted, "Greetings to the workers of my land and all over the world."

Maryam penned: "The first voice in the world of workers' rights was raised by our Holy Prophet (PBUH) and he ordered that the workers should be paid their dues before their sweat is dried."

She wrote that the necessities of life can be met in the wages of a labourer because these labourers are the guarantors of Pakistan's development and prosperity and the architects of a bright Pakistan.
