Lesco board acting chairman Ali Ayaz Sadiq resigns

The son of National Assembly Speaker Dr Sardar Muhammad Ali Ayaz Sadiq has resigned from the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) Board of Directors, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the sources, Dr. Sardar Muhammad Ali Ayaz Sadiq resigned from the position of acting Chairman of the LESCO Board due to personal reasons.

He was holding the position of Acting Chairman of the LESCO Board since December 2023.

Sardar Mohammad Ali Ayaz Sadiq was appointed as LESCO board member in December 2022.

He is an Associate Professor serving as Supervisor of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at King Edward Medical University, Lahore.

Sardar is also a member of Task Force on Health and inspection teams of the Government of Pakistan and working vibrantly for improvement in Health system of Pakistan.
