PML-N leader and former speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday said that the government has linked his statement to the Armed Forces which was not fair at all. People cannot be fooled as they understand that his statement was against the government and not against the institutions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“It is Aleem Khan’s incompetence that they placed banners inscribed with pictures of Indian Prime Minister Modi and Indian flags in Lahore,” Ayaz Sadiq said in a statement.

Ayaz Sadiq questioned what kind of patriotism was when Indian flags have been placed along roads in Lahore.

He said neither PML-N asked for any NRO nor the party wants any from Imran Khan.

Separately, PML-N Punjab President and former Law Minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah addressing media persons in Lahore, supported Ayaz Sadiq and said the government is doing propaganda on the former NA speaker’s statement.

“The Prime Minister wants to create rifts among the opposition and institutions. They are playing a dangerous game with revenge in mind,” he said.

Rana Sanaullah alleged that members of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Tiger Force is blackmailing the shopkeepers.

“No decisions have been taken on time as people have lost billions of rupees due to flour, sugar, and electricity crises,” Rana Sanaullah maintained.

“PDM, PML-N and Nawaz Sharif have nothing to do with any characters but we are concerned about the mindset which makes and breaks the candidates from South Punjab before the elections,” the PML-N leader said.

Rana Sanaullah said: “Nawaz Sharif’s narrative has been widely accepted.”

Addressing media persons in Lahore, PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said Nawaz Sharif will make Naya Pakistan with the support of PML-N.

She said no one is patriotic than Ayaz Sadiq who run the parliament and did not lock it. “Stop distributing certificates of a traitor and stop hiding behind the institutions and do not drag the institutions in absurd politics,” she said.

She demanded an inquiry into placing Indian flags and Indian Prime Minister’s pictures at Mall Road in Lahore.

Marriyum Aurangzeb alleged terrorist and fascist mindset has been imposed on Pakistan. “There will be no compromise on the constitution of Pakistan,” she said in response to a question.

“You should not threaten us and you should pack your luggage from Prime Minister House and from Bani Gala as well because in the coming days you will be going out of the country. Do not forget to take your hired spokespersons with you,” she said.

A meeting of PML-N Lahore division officebearers including MNAs, MPAs, Mayor, and Deputy Mayors was also held.
