Authorities have released two key leaders of Tehrik-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP), Allama Shafiq Amini and Pir Zaheerul Hassan Shah, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The detainees were set free after the protesters and the government sealed a deal. TLP began the march calling for the release of jailed leader Saad Rizvi and the expulsion of France's ambassador over blasphemy.

“An agreement for peace and betterment has been reached,” Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi,” told the media.

He was accompanied Mufti Muneeb ur-Rehman, the main TLP negotiator. According to Muneebur Rehman, details would emerge at a later stage but practical manifestations will be seen shortly.
